Connie Jo (Edwards) Little passed away at 10:00 am on Thursday February 8, 2024 at Eastlake Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Elkhart, IN. She was 70 years, 3 months and 14 days.

She was born in Elkhart County, IN on October 25, 1953. She was the fifth child to her mother Bonieta "Bonnie" Fern (Drake) Maxson who passed October 11, 2020. Her father was George Otto Edwards who passed April 26, 1969.

She outlived the fathers of her children: Olson Jay Marbaugh, John Thomas Little; and these siblings (and in-laws): Linda Lou (Edwards) Toppins (Paul, Grady); Marcia Kay (Edwards) Maxson (Virgil, James, Fred); Steve Edwards (Jeannie, Carolyn); and Gary Edwards.

Surviving children are Cathy Ann Ware (Tommy) of Laurel Hill, NC; Kelly Scott Marbaugh of Coldwater, MI; Jennifer Rebecca Marbaugh (Allen)of New Baine, AR; Joseph Michael Marbaugh of Elkhart, IN; and John Isaac Little of Horse Shoe, NC. She has 13 grandchildren: Timmy, Travis, Isaac, Ashley, Dorothy, Cody, Zack, Andrew, Jessica, Austin, Olson, Celeste, Derick, and Mason. She has 6 great-grandchildren: Summer, Jakobie, Monroe, Ella, Arthur, Alex, Shawn, Lilly, and Cyrus. She has one living brother Franklin (Sharlene) Herington and one sister Sharon (Edwards) Stevens both of Elkhart, IN. She also leaves close family friends Melanie Edwards, Jo Lee LaRue and Linda Lofti, 2 aunts, 1 uncle and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Connie grew up and lived in the Michiana area her whole life. She retired from United Shades after working there 20 years. She also worked at CMI in Bristol, IN. She loved to go fishing and playing video games. She loved her many pets and especially Buddy. She had a great smile, loved chocolate and did not like to eat chicken or cheese. She was a person of few words and lived a quiet life.

A memorial will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514. Family and friends may gather from noon to 1:45 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. In accordance with Connie's wishes, cremation was chosen.
