Connie C. Hancock, 60, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her home.

Connie was born on March 31, 1962 to Jake and Diane (Swinehart) Owen in Elkhart, IN.

Connie is survived by her husband and father of her children, Scott Hancock of Mesa, AZ; sons, Trevor Hancock (Alyssa) of Mishawaka and Ryan Cole Hancock of Mesa, AZ; and brothers, Tony Swinehart and John (Kelly) Swinehart.

Connie was a graduate of Elkhart Central High School. She was a skilled forklift driver with Odyssey Group in Bristol. Connie was crafty and a painter. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, horticulture, floral arranging and morel mushroom hunting.

Connie was always up for adventure, riding 4 wheelers and bowling in her younger days. She was also an animal lover.

She was an outgoing free spirit, enjoyed a good joke but most of all, someone who always thought of others before herself. Connie will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Connie's Life Gathering will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.
