Claran (Patrick) Schrock, 88, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. She was born in Evanston, IL on December 10, 1932, to the late Chauncey and Mary Ellen (Geist) Patrick.

Claran is survived by her children, Kimberly E., Stephen E., and Mark E. Schrock all of Elkhart; grandchildren, Sydney Schrock and Tara Rabiola both of Indianapolis and Derek Howard of Middlebury; two great grandchildren; sisters, Jackie Campbell of Elkhart, Patricia and Christine Patrick both of California, and Debbie (Tim) McDonald of Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents; ex-spouse, Thomas E. Schrock; and sister, Doris Glanders.

In accordance with Claran's wishes, cremation was chosen. A celebration of life gathering will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart on August 19, 2021 from 2-3 p.m. with a service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 County Road 19, Bristol, IN 46507.

Claran worked as a teller for 30 years at Lake City Bank before retiring in 2007.In her spare time she enjoyed being outdoors, walking, biking, and reading. Claran was a kind woman who loved to have fun and enjoy company with her family, friends, and her faithful dog. She treasured every moment she spent with all of them and will be greatly missed.
