ELKHART — Cindy M. Wyres, 51, of Elkhart, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2018, following a sudden illness.

She was born  March 9, 1967, to the late William and Sue (Simpson) Green Evans. She married Todd Wyres in Elkhart on July 4, 2011. He survives at home.

Also surviving are children Amanda (Lyndon Snyder) McCue and Cassandra (David Ousernamer), Joshua (Ashley) and Brandy (Twon Thomas) Wallace; 13 grandchildren; five brothers; and stepfather Lewis Evans.

Two sisters preceded her in death.

In accordance with Cindy's wishes, cremation is taking place with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home and a memorial service will be at a later date.

Cindy was an apartment manager for Conrad Hostetler Rental Properties and a dedicated wife and mother to her family, whom she loved very much.

Although Cindy wasn't afraid to speak her mind, she remained kindhearted and caring throughout her life.
