CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — Chuck "Redeye" Sills, 62, of Cassopolis, passed away Thursday, June 4, at home.
He was born July 5, 1952, in Terre Haute, to Charles and Rosann (Bush) Sills.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Lynne (Franklin) Christopulos of Cassopolis; mother Rosann (John) Dicks of Elkhart; stepdaughter Char (Mike) Hooley of Middlebury; brother John (Mary Kay) Dicks of Elkhart; two sisters, Lisa (Brian) Ridenour of Elkhart and Karen Sills of West Lafayette; granddaughter Zoe Hooley of Middlebury; and three nephews, John Dicks, Tyler Dicks and Michael Wolfe, all of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Chuck was a 1970 graduate of Jimtown High School.
He was employed as a supervisor at Jason Industries for several years prior to his retirement.
In addition to being an avid fisherman, he enjoyed spending time playing poker with family and friends, and watching the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a dedicated Notre Dame football fan.
A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to the 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, celebration of life service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in memory of Chuck.
