Chrystal L. Gibson, 41, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Warsaw, IN on December 14, 1980, to the late Paul E. Gibson and Rita K. Hitzeman, who survives.

Chrystal is also survived by her daughter, Rachel Dawn Gibson; brothers, Robert Baucher and Joseph "Joe" Gibson; and adopted father, Paul M. Baucher. She is preceded in death by her father and grandmother, Janette "Jan" K. Miller.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. Service will take place at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jon Rauch of Grace Community Church in Goshen officiating. In accordance with Chrystal's wishes, cremation will follow services. Donations may be made to Grace Community Church, 20076 County Road 36, Goshen, In 46526.

Chrystal was a fun loving, witty, and sweet woman who lived life to the fullest. She was a productive Manufacturing Associate for MasterBrand Cabinets, where she worked for several years. Chrystal was an active and devout member of Grace Community Church where she always enjoyed sitting in the front row and listening to the comforting words of the Lord. She was a beautiful woman with the most caring and giving heart. Chrystal loved to spend time with her family every chance she had; she will be missed greatly by her family and all the people she touched in her life.
