E. Sutterby
November 1, 1959 – December 23, 2021
On December 23, 2021; the Lord called Christopher "Chris" E. Sutterby home. Chris was born November 1, 1959 in Elkhart to the late Richard Sutterby and Goldia (Givens) Sutterby, who survives.
Other survivors include his wife of 41 years, Marsha (Whitesell) Sutterby; sons, Nicholas (Annie) Sutterby, Daniel (Kelly) Sutterby and Shane Ivens; grandchildren, Kohen and Theodore Sutterby, Alycia Allen and Brooklyn Ivens; sister Terri Smith and his beloved dogs, Ruby and Gunner. Chris was preceded in death by his father; sister, Brenda Ward and grandsons, Justin and Klayton Sutterby.
Chris loved spending time with family enjoying cookouts, holidays and camping; he was also very talented and self-taught in many areas including mechanical, remodeling and building things. He was a member of the NRA and the St. Joseph County Michigan Conservation Club. Chris was well respected during decades of employment within the RV industry while managing and mentoring many people. Chris held a special place in his heart for animals and memorial donations to your local shelter is appreciated.
Condolences may be offered on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street in Elkhart with a service to immediately follow being officiated by Pastor Steve Wisler of Community Bible Church in Sturgis, Michigan.
