Obituary
Christopher Deshaun Caston, Jr., the 8-month-old infant son of Christopher D. Caston Sr. and Javonica Jones of Elkhart, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at 6:25 p.m. at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born in St. Joseph, Mich., on April 27, 2014.
A sister, Ja'Leishia Jones and a brother, Matt Jones, survive at home. Also left to cherish his memory are maternal grandparents Janice Williams and Johnny Gary of Elkhart and Anthony Spann and Artissue Butler of Benton Harbor, Mich.; paternal grandparents Cathy Williams and Germaine Jones of Benton Harbor, and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy (Petrilla) Patrick of Elkhart; and a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A paternal great grandmother, Sadie Patrick, preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at noon followed by a graveside service at the infant section in Rice Cemetery of Elkhart. Pastor Frank Andrews of the Calvary Church of God in Christ of Elkhart will officiate.
Christopher will be best remembered for being full of love and joy and for having big smiles. He was a baby who made everyone laugh.
Memorial donations may be given to the Christopher D. Caston, Jr. Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home.
