ELKHART -- Christopher "Scot" Auld, 48, of Elkhart, passed away at 1:54 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Goshen General Hospital.
He was born March 19, 1963, in Elkhart.
Survivors include his father, Larry W. Auld; mother Patricia A. (Lovely) Auld; two brothers, Gene (Julia) Wright and John (Stephanie) Wright; two nephews, Lucas and Clark Wright; and two nieces, Maggie and Mollie Wright, all of Elkhart.
Scot was a 1981 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. He spent many years employed as a carpenter in the construction industry. Scot was an avid car enthusiast and spent much of his free time working on Firebirds.
To celebrate Scot's life, a gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday (July 7, 2011) at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
