He was born July 26, 1942, in Chatfield, Ark., to Woodrow and Thelma (Griffin) Graham.
He is survived by five daughters, Melanie (Anthony) Davis, Shundalyn Graham, Tamela Gordon and LaTanya Graham, all of Elkhart, and Katrina Jackson of Detroit; one son, Keith Flucas of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his mother of Elkhart; three sisters, Sally B. Williams and Sandra Graham, both of Elkhart, and Miranda (David) Porter of Charlotte, N.C.; and four brothers, Woodrow "Woody" (Carolyn) Graham, Cleo Graham, Pastor Willie (Diana) Graham and Connie Van Graham, all of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call one hour prior to Friday's noon funeral service at Mount Sinai Church of God in Christ, 835 Blaine Ave., Elkhart. Pastor Willie Graham of New Light of Hope Christian Center Church of God in Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery in the veteran's section, where a USMC funeral honor guard and Elkhart DAV Chapter 19 will render military honors. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Graham graduated in 1960 from Elkhart High School and attended Ivy Tech. He was a forklift and machine operator at Hart Plastics, Elkhart, for more than 10 years before retiring in 2004. He was a meticulous dresser who took pride in his appearance. He was an avid Bears and Lakers fan who enjoyed fishing.
He was a deacon at New Light of Hope Christian Center Church of God in Christ on C.R. 113. Mr. Graham was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran who was stationed in Saigon. He earned the Purple Heart and rank of lance corporal
