Charles Edward Thomas, 82, of White Pigeon, Michigan, passed to his rest on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at his home, surrounded by love and family. Charles was born on December 14, 1936 in Lockwood, West Virginia to the late Claudie Elmer and Bessie Belle (McClung) Thomas. In addition to his parents, five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Surviving are four children, James Hart, Sherrie E. (Luke) Mendez, Tim Thomas and Jason Thomas; five grandchildren, Sami Hart, Garrett Thomas, Danielle Maust, Brandon Thomas, Emma Thomas; and his brother Lowell (Karen) Thomas and sister Linda Mullins.

Charles retired from NIBCO Inc. after 25 years of service in the maintenance department. Charles loved Karaoke, playing pool and collecting and repairing clocks.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Charles E. Thomas will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, at the First Church of God, Gilboa, West Virginia, with visitation 1 hour prior the service at the church.

Burial will follow at Summer Cemetery, Lockwood, West Virginia.

Local arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, Indiana. The White Funeral of Summersville is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials may be given to Three Rivers Hospice, 711 South Health Parkway, Three Rivers, MI  49093.
