ELKHART — Charles T. "Tom" Meadows, 47, of Elkhart, passed away at 1:20 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013.
He was born June 10, 1966, in Plant City, Fla., to Charles T. Meadows and Donna M. (Lazzara) Templeton.
On Oct. 9, 2011, he married Janet S. (Connaway) Meadows in Deer Creek.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Meadows of Elkhart; mother Donna M. Templeton of Elkhart; stepfather Preston Templeton Jr. of Elkhart; four sons, Thomas Meadows of Sandusky, Ohio, Nicholas Meadows of Columbus, Ohio, Austin Meadows of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Anthony Meadows of Goshen; two stepsons, Christopher Fowler of Logansport and Matthew Fowler of Fort Hood, Texas; daughter Priscilla Meadows of Goshen; brother Brian Meadows of Sandusky; sister Heddy (Scott) Lee of Vandalia, Mich.; stepbrother Preston III (Heather) Templeton of Goshen; and a stepsister, Jennifer Templeton of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a grandfather, Joseph Lazzara.
Tom was employed in the construction industry for nearly 25 years. He was a member of Sugar Grove Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart and for 30 minutes prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Sugar Grove Church, 58512 Old C.R. 17, Goshen. Pastor John Ware will officiate. Cremation will follow at Altera Cremation Services.
