Obituary
ELKHART — Charles H. "Charlie" Boswell, 47, of Elkhart, passed away the morning of May 15, in Bunker Hill.
He was born Sept. 6, 1966, in Macomb County, Mich., to Daniel and Sharon (Sidney) Mabie.
Surviving are his father, Daniel R. Mabie of Elkhart; sisters Danielle Cole of Elkhart and Becky Fehnel of Alabama; brothers Brian Mabie of Elkhart and Danny Mabie of Lubbock, Texas; aunt Karen Lambert of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; his former wife and mother to his children, Tammi; and sons Michael and Cody Springman.
His mother, Sharon Mabie, brothers Jimmy and Mark Mabie and a niece, Alisha Mabie, preceded him in death.
Charlie formerly worked at Barger Box Co. in Elkhart. He loved his children, family and nieces and nephews.
Services celebrating Charlie's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Word of Life Fellowship, 27696 Willard Road, Elkhart. Pastor Ken Lacefield will officiate.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family requests memorials be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
