Charles M. Buckley, 63, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Goshen Hospital.

Charles was born in Elkhart, Indiana to Joseph and Marjorie (Carr) Buckley on February 10, 1958. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Charles is survived by his children, Charles J. Buckley, Angela Buckley, and Heather Pickrell, all in Elkhart; sister, Carol (Glenn) Spitler of Lombard, IL; grandchildren, Joseph, Crystal, Zoie, Malachi and Zane; and great grandchildren, Anani and Amias.

He worked hard in a manufacturing career so that he could take care of his family, and he earned an associate's degree in robotics and electronics.  He retired at the age of 60.

Charles was also a very generous man. He was hard-working, would give the shirt off his back to help others, and he opened his home to anyone in need.  In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, and he liked to take apart electronics to study the motherboards.  He also enjoyed taking walks to pick up fossils and rocks along the way. He also had a passion for music, especially the music of AC\DC, Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd, and many more. Most of all, though, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them about his many interests.

On Saturday, July 10th a Memorial Gathering will be held at Bonneyville Mill County Park, under the Meadow Shelter pavilion, open to friends and family from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
