ELKHART -- Chardonney Za'riah Carruthers, 6 weeks, of Elkhart, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday (July 2, 2009) in Elkhart General Hospital, apparently the result of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Chardonney was born May 19, 2009, to Roy Tittle and Terraneka S. Carruthers of Elkhart.

They survive along with two brothers, Marshall L. Love and Tytearion L. Carruthers, both at home; two sisters, Jenai Tittle and Satariah Tittle, both of Elkhart; grandparents Peggy Carruthers of Elkhart, Tonia Hines of Elkhart and Roy Tittle Sr. of Elkhart; and a godmother, Patty Lemons of Elkhart.

A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. Monday in the infant section of Rice Cemetery. Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, is handling arrangements.
