Cathy L. Spry, 70, of Elkhart, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 29, 2022.

Cathy was born on December 2, 1951 in Sidney, OH to the late Carroll David McIntire and Jenna Lee (Estep) McIntire. She married the love of her life, Thomas Michael Spry in 1971 in Elkhart.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thomas M. Spry of Elkhart; son Jeffrey Michael Spry of Elkhart; grandchildren, Connor Michael Spry and Jennalee Kathryn Spry; and brothers, David Allen (Ruthann) McIntire of Goshen and Michael Ray (Nancy Jo) McIntire of Bristol.

Cathy was employed in the Elkhart County School district for most of her life and most recently a teacher's aide at Monger Elementary in Elkhart. Cathy and Thomas were members of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers. In her spare time, Cathy would go mushrooming and antiquing. She was always there for her family and will be greatly missed.

A Graveside service for Cathy will be at 11:00 am Monday, June 13, 2022 at Violett Cemetery, 2818 Violett Rd., Goshen, IN 46526. Rev. John Hogsett of Faith United Methodist Church in Elkhart is presiding.
