Cassie M. Geschke, 21, of Elkhart, passed away too soon on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her home.

Cassie was born in Elkhart on January 17, 2001 to Robert Geschke and Angela Holt.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Angela on January 2, 2022.

Cassie is survived by her daughter, Amaya; father, Robert Geschke (Amy Cramer) of Elkhart; brothers and sister, Robert Geschke, Anthony Griffis and Kaeley Geschke, all of Elkhart; Aunts, Leanne Hankins, Michelle Camacho, Candace Arroyo, Jamie Longacre and Amber Swichtenberg and Uncle Curtis Holt.

Cassie affectionately known as "Sassy Cassie", graduated from Elkhart Central High School. She was a cashier at Kroger's. Cassie loved being around children and hanging out with her friends. She especially loved her baby girl, Amaya, whom she heroically sacrificed her own life to save.

Cassie was a bubbly, happy and silly young lady and will be greatly missed.

A Private Service will be held at a later date. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
