Carolyn Sue (Young) DeKoster, 60, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born on June 28, 1963, in Madison, WV, to Darrell Sr. and Martha A. (Smith) Young.

Carolyn is survived by her loving mother, Martha; brother, Darrell Young, Jr.; and a loving host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Sr., and sister, Patricia Young.

In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.

Carolyn will best be remembered as an outgoing, vibrant soul. She, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
