Carolyn Sue Laughter, 74, of Goshen, formerly of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born in Elkhart, IN on June 13, 1951, to the late George and Norma (Fuller) Main.

Carolyn is also preceded in death by her son, Brian Laughter. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Melinda) McDonald and Bobby (Cathy) McDonald; stepdaughters, Dawn Laughter and Tammy Perez; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and siblings, Keith Main and Georgia Main.

In accordance with Carolyn's wishes, cremation was chosen. Visitation will take place Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Jeremy Sarber at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. Memorial donations may be given to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Carolyn was an independent and hardworking woman who would do anything to help those in need, when she was able. She worked in the manufacturing industry for many years and was employed at AEC, Quality Plastics, and Electancion. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. When she was able, she enjoyed going down to the racetrack in New Paris to watch her sons and grandchildren race. Carolyn loved to cheer them on and would do her best to make it to the racetrack every weekend. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
