Carolyn L. Corbett, 94, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare Center in Elkhart. She was born in Bellefontaine, OH on February 18, 1931, to the late Lester and Myrtle (Davis) Parker.

Carolyn is also preceded in death by her spouses, Jack Kaiser and Nelson Corbett; a grandchild; brother, Lester Parker; sisters, Roberta Berry, Kathyrn Stevens, Juanita Shields, Virginia Hatfield, and Donna Mae Bickham; and daughter in law, Sharon Kaiser. She is survived by her children, Richard Kaiser, Rhonda Lundgren, Vicki Clark; grandchildren, Mike (Amy) Kaiser, Laurie Kaiser, Kirk (Kitty) Tapp, Kelly (Jeff) Burton, Dustin (Amber) Tapp, and Bryan Sanders; 13 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Adamsville Cemetery in Edwardsburg, MI immediately following the services. Memorial donations may be given to Traditions Hospice.

Carolyn was a fiercely independent and loving woman who enjoyed life with a smile on her face. She was a hard worker and worked for 30 years at Duracool prior to retiring. Carolyn always had an interest in music and was a talented musician. She learned how to play the organ and took up guitar lessons prior to starting her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and loved all kinds of flowers.

Carolyn’s family made her life complete and she felt so blessed to have so many grandchildren, great grandchildren and all her great great grandchildren. Her outgoing personality made it easy for her to make many friends in the span of her long and beautiful life. Carolyn will be dearly missed by her loving family and by the lives she impacted throughout her journey.
