ELKHART — Carole R. Stuck, 78, of Elkhart, passed away from natural causes at Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend at 1:12 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16.

She was born in Elkhart on July 24, 1935, to the late Raymond and Mildred (Archer) Sherman.

She married Clifford L. Stuck on June 5, 1954, in Elkhart.

He preceded her in death along with her sister, Betty Swinehart.

Surviving are her sons, Steven M. (Agatha Rogers) and David R. (Luann) Stuck, both of Elkhart, and Thomas A. (Jennifer) Stuck of Seymour; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart. A graveside service will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21.

Carole worked at CTS Corp. in Elkhart for nearly 15 years. She was an avid Scrabble player and enjoyed reading books and watching old Turner Classic movies.
