Carol E. Wade, 75, of Elkhart, died Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Signature HealthCARE of South Bend. She was born December 24, 1945 in Hayward CA, the daughter of (the late) Alfred & Nina (Lesher) Hay. Carol married Daryl S. Wade in Elkhart on June 18, 1987; he survives after 33 years of marriage. Carol was a homemaker; she was an avid reader and also enjoyed watching old westerns; she especially enjoyed taking in the scenery during long drives through the countryside. In addition to Daryl, Carol is survived by her children; Suzanne (Bob) Riggs of Oakdale CA and Julie Wong of Tangent OR. Also surviving are Brian (Billie) Wade and Joshua Wade, both of Fort Worth TX and Shawn Jordan of White Settlement TX; her sister Shirley Fitzgerald of Tangent OR; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside Services in Violett Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
