Obituary
Carol M. Irwin, 66, of Elkhart, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born April 22, 1948, in Elkhart to Lloyd W. and Viola C. (Serifino) Cattell of Elkhart.
In addition to her mother, other survivors include two sons, Brian Tomlonson of Commiskey and Gary Tomlonson of Goshen; sister Diane Cattell of Edwardsburg, Mich.; brother John (Marilyn) Cattell of Elkhart; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and her nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Barbara Ann Cattell.
Carol was a lifetime resident of Elkhart and attended Elkhart High School. She will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor to the many people that knew her.
The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, celebration of life service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Joel Irvin will officiate.
