Obituary
ELKHART — Carol A. Helman, 68, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, April 9, at Golden Living Center in Elkhart.
She was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Robert J. and Mabel E. (Hostetler) Mitchell.
Survivors include one son, Ray (Loreena) Storer of Elkhart; one daughter, Crystal Leiler of Elkhart; mother Mabel E. Mitchell of Greensboro, N.C.; one sister, Sandy Mitchell of Greensboro; two brothers, Allan (Tracy) Mitchell of Goshen and James (Marilyn) Mitchell of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her father.
There will be no services at this time and a celebration of life service will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County in memory of Carol.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
