ELKHART — Carol A. Cameron, 71, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Nov. 2, 1939, in Hillsdale, Mich., to Everett and Beatrice (Richmond) Hoover.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Cameron of Elkhart; two sons, Randy R. (Laura) Cameron and Troy O. Cameron, both of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Hoover.
Carol was employed with Klem Supply for nearly 20 years prior to her retirement. She attended Calvary Assembly of God Church for many years.
A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the 7 p.m. celebration of life service Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor John Utley of Radiant Life Church will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Carol.
