Carl D. Prince, 34, of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2023, at South Bend Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 10, 1988, in Dowagiac, MI to Chris E. Laribee, who survives, and the late Sherry L. Prince-Stutzman, who precedes him in death.

Carl is also survived by his children, Keenan Romeo Prince, Leeland Jaxon Prince, and Penelope Jade; siblings, Dusten Prince, Destinee (Mike) Custer, Christie Stutzman, and Joseph Stutzman all of Goshen; stepfather, Larry Stutzman; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Carl was a hardworking and kind man who would put others needs before his own. He worked for Lycro Manufacturing in Wakarusa as a parts manufacturer. Carl had a big heart and was a very giving soul. His family meant the world to him. He enjoyed spending time with his siblings and children whenever he had the chance, making sure to share his positive upbeat personality with them all. Carl was also a very artistic man who loved creating body art and took pride in his tattoos.

Cremation was chosen and a visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A Celebration of life service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the family to help alleviate funeral expenses c/o Christie Stutzman.
