It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Bryce Andrew Franks, born May 8, 1994, who left us far too soon. His loss is immeasurable, leaving behind a family who loves him deeply and will miss him always.

Bryce was the beloved son of Autumn Nicholson (Eric) and Eric Franks, a devoted and loving father to his son, Anakin, whom he shared with Jazmyn, and a caring brother to Kelsey. He was also a proud uncle, a cherished grandson and nephew, and a cousin who meant so much to so many.

To know Bryce was to know his passion for soccer and his dedication to supporting and cheering on his favorite football team Manchester United. He found comfort in reading and writing short stories, and he was an avid gamer who appreciated both the creativity and strategy of the games he played.

But more than anything, Bryce loved being a dad. Anakin was his world. He loved teaching him how to think strategically through video and board games, taking him to the movies, and creating lasting memories on unforgettable adventures to places like Universal Studios and Legoland.

Bryce also had a deep love for music and live concerts, always finding connections and energy through those shared experiences. He was a devoted fan of movies, especially the stories and characters from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter which reflected his imagination, loyalty, and sense of wonder.

Bryce will be remembered for his heart, his passions, and the special bond he shared with those closest to him. The memories he created, especially with his son, will be held onto tightly and cherished forever. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514

A Celebration of Life Service for Bryce will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026 with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating.
