ELKHART — Brice Bernard Bennett, 72, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Elkhart Hospice House.
He was born June 25, 1939, to Clyde and Audrey (Crouser) Bennett in Lumberport, W.Va.
Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Frances, Leslie Fondren, both of Alabama, and Lori (Sean) Seitziner of Chicago; son Jeffery Bennett of Kingwood, W.Va.; brother Clyde B. Bennett of Portland, Ore.; sister Patricia (Gene) Schroll of Mason, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
Brice served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 until 1962. He later was employed with Elkhart Foundry for more than 21 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed spending time hunting and watching his favorite shows on television.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday May 25, 2012, at Perine Funeral Home, Shinnston, W.Va. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. Pastor Chad Hudson will officiate. Graveside military honors will be provided by the U.S. Air Force.
