Brian Joseph Schwier, 54, of Elkhart, passed away at the home of a friend in South Bend. Brian was born May 1, 1966 in Rensselaer, Indiana to the late Russell R. and Linda (Burton) Schwier. He is survived and will be missed by his siblings, Michael E. Schwier, Thomas L. Schwier, Donna J. Schwier, Cathy A. Kohler and Teresa M. (David) Lincoln; also he is survived by 5 nieces, Lindsey, Chelsea, Leslie Schwier, Terra Lincoln and Natalie Shaffer; and 2 nephews, Jacob Lincoln and Ryan Chapman.

His life partner Terry Fallin, preceded Brian in death just last year in Florida.

Brian grew up in the Catholic Church. He was a talented artist and enjoyed gardening, interior decorating and loved to entertain and party. He will be loved and missed.

In accordance with Brian's wishes, cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date in St. Vincent Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his mom and dad.
