ELKHART — Brian Pritchard, 82, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Elkhart Hospice House.
He was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Liverpool, England, to Thomas F. Pritchard and Dorothy E. Sharpe.
On Oct. 5, 2006, he married Doe (Rockett) Pritchard. She survives at home.
Other survivors include one daughter, Michelle (Greg) Osborne of Indianapolis; one stepdaughter, Teri Ivory of Elkhart; one brother, Geoffrey Sharpe of Australia; one sister, Jill Berdahl of Stockton, Calif.; four grandchildren, Nigel Hunt, Angelo Colagrossi and Ivy Crockett, all of Elkhart, and Laila Colagrossi of Mishawaka; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Crockett and Darrion Jackson, both of Elkhart, and Jordan Miller of Mishawaka; a host of nieces and nephews.
Brian served in the British Royal Air Force prior to moving to the U.S. He was part owner and operator of Gemini Van Conversions for nearly 12 years. Brian was an avid sports car enthusiast and also enjoyed building remote controlled planes and training dogs.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Edwin Newsome will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Elkhart County in memory of Brian.
