ELKHART — Brian A. McCreary, 54, of Elkhart, passed to his rest Thursday afternoon, Jan 22, at Greenleaf Health Campus.
Brian was born March 22, 1960, in South Bend to Richard A. "Dick" and Shirley R. (Neterer) McCreary.
Surviving are his parents; two brothers, John (Linda) McCreary and Mark (Nell) McCreary, and a sister Beth (Mark) Price, all of Elkhart; a niece, Rachel Brown; and five nephews, Brandon (Mackenzie) McCreary, Sean McCreary, Erik McCreary, Patrick McCreary and Matthew Brown.
Brian was a 1978 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School.
He worked as a pressman at Kellmark Corp. for many years.
Brian was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was interested in NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon his favorite driver.
He also enjoyed his breakfast friends at Bob Evans restaurant, where he ate almost every day.
Visitation for Brian will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St.
Services celebrating his life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the funeral home, where friends may call for an hour prior to the service. Pastor Carl Henry will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
The family kindly requests that memorials for Brian be given to Northside Baptist Church in his name.
