IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda L.
Shupe
April 8, 1964 – April 25, 2008
She was born April 8, 1964, to E. Eugene Brady and Ludie Franks in Phoenix.
She is survived by one daughter, Kara (Jeremy) Wejroch of Goshen; and four sisters, Barb (Ed) Flagel of Eau Clair, Mich., Iva Greer of Constantine, Mich., and Theresa (Jack) Berger and Shirley (Bob) Shorter, both of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, and one hour prior to Tuesday's 11 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home with Pastor Martha Cooper of the Lord's House Church of Cassopolis, Mich., officiating. Burial will follow in Edwardsburg Cemetery.
Brenda worked at G.S. Plastics for nearly 17 years in shipping and receiving until her health required her early retirement in 2006. She enjoyed shopping and camping, especially at Indiana Beach. She also liked scrapbooking and watching the New England Patriots and Michigan. She was known to be a caring and giving person and never turned down a chance to care for someone in need. Among her favorite things were the beach, sun, sand and surf, so to honor Brenda's memory, the family has asked that those attending Monday's visitation wear brightly colored "Hawaiian" style shirts in celebration of her life.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in South Bend.
