ELKHART — Brenda Sue Landers, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, in her residence.
She was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Ward, W.Va., the daughter of Edward and Thelma Brown.
She married Carlos D. Landers Sr. on May 28, 1966, in Rand, W.Va. He passed away on April 8, 2005.
Survivors include five sons; one sister; two brothers; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and one sister.
Brenda enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her family.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Graveside services will immediately follow in The Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen. Pastor Barbara Bunton will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure fund.
