BRISTOL — Brandon S. Rogers, 26, of Bristol, was found passed away in his home at 6:03 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, after an illness.
He was born in Gainsville, Fla., on Jan. 16, 1987, to Jon E. Rogers and Paula (Lee) Rogers.
They survive him, along with his son, Havik Sky Rogers; stepbrother Justin Latner; sisters Heather (Jeremy) Lange and Shanon, Devon and Erica Rogers; grandparents Marsha and Kenneth Fales; and grandfather Jim Rogers.
In accordance with the family's wishes, Brandon is to be cremated and buried in Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen with a graveside service beginning at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is handling the arrangements.
Brandon worked at the former Lake Shore Tavern at Simonton Lake. He enjoyed cookouts, hanging out with his friends and spending time with his son. He will be best remembered for being a devoted father, son and friend.
There are no memorials. The family is planning a celebration of Brandon's life at Congdon Park in Bristol from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.
