Obituary

ELKHART - Bradley C. "Brad" Collins, 38, of Elkhart, was found passed away Tuesday, 2/17/2017 at his home.
He was born Aug.11, 1978 in Elkhart to the late Dennis D. Collins and Mrs. Nancy L. (McGaffey) Collins, who resides in Elkhart. He married Rikki L. Reed on June 18, 2005 in Elkhart and she survives at home.
Along with his mother and wife, Brad leaves behind his daughters Paige L., Madilyn R. and Teagan C. Collins, all at home; brother Chad J. (Lori Lull) Collins of Elkhart and Jennifer K. Igney of Goshen; parents-in-law Joe and Teri Reed and brother-in-law Jason K. (Jody A.) Reed, both of Elkhart; 1 nephew and 6 nieces.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is honored to host Brad's Celebration of Life Services beginning with a visitation on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at 5:00 pm followed by a service at 7:00 pm. Pastor John Blodgett of the First Baptist Church of Elkhart will officiate and a private family burial will follow at Olive Cemetery of Elkhart at a later date.
Brad had worked for AEP as an electrical transmission lineman for over 10 years. He was a talented mechanic and enjoyed tinkering and fixing things around the house. In his free time, he liked to fish, spend time on Simonton Lake and be a doting father to his three girls. He served as a former firefighter with the Osolo Township Fire Department for nearly 10 years, and was affectionately known as "Lil Pup".
Memorial donations may be given to Rikki for the girls' college fund.
