ELKHART — Bobbie J. Wilson, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Valley View Nursing Home.
She was born March 10, 1953, in Blytheville, AR to Ernest D. and Virgie L. (Christian) Jones.
She was united in marriage to Johnnie Wilson on Nov. 11, 1977.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers: Primus Moss, Willie Edward Sartin, Robert Jones, Thomas Jones and Roosevelt Jones; two sisters: Ora Hughes and Minnie Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Christopher Lee Wilson of Elkhart; 5 sisters: Bertha Nick of Lansing, MI, Henrietta (Anderson) Kyle of Union, MI, Juanita Henderson of Bellwood, IL, Mary (Houston) Morgan of Evans, GA and Alice (Christopher) Berrios of Blytheville, AR; 2 brothers: Earnest L. Jones of Los Angeles, CA and Samuel (Gloria) Jones of Henderson, NV.; one granddaughter, Sha'Kaylie L. Weaver of Baton Rouge, LA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Prior to her disability, Bobbie was employed at Goshen Rubber for more than 25 years.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. celebration of life service on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart.
Minister Houston Morgan will officiate.
