Billy Jerome Dooley, Jr., 41, formerly of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

He was born on June 18, 1984, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Billy Jerome Dooley, Sr. and Johnetta (Jackson) Dooley. Billy was preceded in death by his birth mother, Johnetta Dooley.

He is survived by his father, Billy Jerome Dooley, Sr. of Elkhart; his loving mom, Beth Dooley of Goshen; sister, Ronicia McBride; brothers, Recardo Dockins, Steven Dooley, and Austin Dooley; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Billy was a devoted and hardworking employee, serving 18 years at Wendy's in Goshen and Dunlap, and also working at Kirts Dry Cleaners in Goshen. Always the social butterfly, he was known for greeting everyone with his bright smile and a warm hello.

Outside of work, Billy enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. He was well-loved in the community for his kind heart, joyful spirit, and the unconditional love he showed to others.

Gone too soon, Loved by all, Will Never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Billy's life will be held at 3pm on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be 3 hours prior to the start of the service from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family in c/o Billy Dooley Sr.
