PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Beverly Ann Sheldon, 78, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Oct. 24, at Bay Front Health Port Charlotte.
Bev was born to Frank and Violet (Foster) Gallup on April 17, 1938.
She was a lifelong Michigan resident.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be missed, but not forgotten.
She spent the last years of her life with her soul mate, Chuck Rogers in Grass Lake, Mich.
She is survived by her children, Karol (David) Anderson, Karla Watts, Kevin Sheldon, Kent Sheldon; a sister, Louise (Russ) Rossetter; a brother-in-law, Fred Hill; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husband Gerald Sheldon and son Keith Sheldon.
A graveside service will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 29, at Edwardsburg Cemetery, Edwardsburg, Mich. Pastor Tim Sheets will officiate.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, has been entrusted with arrangements.
