ELKHART -- Beverly J. "Jean" Dunnuck, 83, of Elkhart, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart.
She was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Elkhart, to James and Mamie "Pearl" (Stiffler) Holdren, who preceded her in death, along with another father, Jack Marshall; brother Charles "Chad" Marshall; and husband James I. Dunnuck.
Surviving are daughters Carolyn G. (David) Lewis of Ennis, Texas, and Cameron K. (Stephen) Mullet and JoDee A. (Matthew) Moseng, both of Elkhart; son James P. Dunnuck of Elkhart; sister Sandra Marshall of Niles, Mich.; brothers James S. (Norma) and Richard D. (Corky) Marshall, both of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Jean's life will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's United Church of Christ, Elkhart, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen. Billings Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Jean was an area grocer for many years.
