ELKHART — Beverly Ann Huff, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, at Elkhart Hospice House.
She was born Jan. 11, 1949, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Harold G. and Hazel J. (Roosa) Bower.
Survivors include one daughter, Melody (Rob) Briggs of Mishawaka; three sons, Reggie (Tracy) Huff of Elkhart, Chris (Amy) Huff of Elkhart and Willie (Amanda Mabie) Huff of Goshen; one sister, Lucy (Roland) Carlberg of Milford, Conn.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 13 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Jeffery Huff; two brothers, Robert Lee and Randy Harold Bower; and one sister, Rose Bower.
Beverly was employed as a librarian at Mary Beck Elementary School for 15 years and later worked at Monger Elementary School as a paraprofessional prior to her retirement.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor David Lade will officiate. Interment of her cremated remains will take place in Rice Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Monger and Mary Beck Elementary for their love and support shown to Beverly during her employment.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Elkhart Special Olympics or the Hospice Foundation.
