ELKHART- Beverly A. Bowe, 67, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born February 3, 1947 in Lincoln, NE to William C. and Frances M. (Barnett) Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Bowe of Elkhart; 3 daughters, Sherry (Roger) Reavis-Terry of Elkhart, Angela Lee of Mishawaka and Anastacia Reavis of Goshen; 3 sons, Terry (Anna) Reavis and David Reavis, both of Elkhart and Anthony (Jennifer) Bowe of Bristol; 1 sister, Barbara Thompson of Murphysboro, IL; 4 brothers, James (Karen) Snyder of Waverly, NE, Jere (Pat) Snyder of Raleigh, NC, Clarence (Lenore) Thompson of Antlers, OK and Richard (Janet) Thompson of Elkhart; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 great-grandson, Shawn Phillip Snider II and 1 great-granddaughter, Angel DeShaney.

Beverly was employed as an account administrator at Ivy Tech Community College for more than 23 years prior to her retirement.

The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the 4:00 PM celebration of life service on Sunday, September 28th at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. Pastor Kenny Lacefield will officiate. Graveside services will be held on Monday September 29th at 11:00 AM at Prairie Street Cemetery.
