Obituary
ELKHART — Beverly Ann "Bev" Bryant, 69, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Valley View Healthcare Center of Elkhart on Sunday, March 13, following an extended illness.
She was born, in Elkhart, April 20, 1946, to the late Porter L. and Ella M. (Breden) Horner.
Surviving are her sons, Jeff M. and Randy A. (Heather) Bryant, both of Elkhart; her sister, Mary L. (Terry) Haigler of Lenoir, N.C.; and grandchildren Dustin, Tyler, Nealey, Sydney and Ava Bryant.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen L. Horner.
Bev's life will be celebrated with a visitation beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a service at 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart. Chaplain Terri Geiser with Elkhart General Hospital will officiate and the burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery of Elkhart.
Bev worked at Nickels Bakery of Elkhart for more than 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and loved to attend their sporting events. She was also an avid Notre Dame fan.
Memorial donations may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
