EDWARDSBURG, Mich. — Betty J. Tevlin, 81, of Edwardsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 17, in her residence.
She was born Nov. 8, 1933, in Elkhart, Ind., to Orville L. and Eunice E. (Blaskely) Wogomon.
On March 1, 1952, she married the late Owen F. Tevlin in Elkhart. He passed away Feb. 1, 2003.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Tevlin of Edwardsburg, Timothy (Tamara) Tevlin of Elkhart and James (Jill) Tevlin of Edwardsburg; one daughter, Judy (Terry) Hagans of Edwardsburg; one sister, Judy (Bob) Denny of Elkhart; daughter-in-law Melanie Tevlin of Edwardsburg; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one niece.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Danny Tevlin, and one niece, Denise Denny.
Betty was employed as a secretary with Skyline Corporation for several years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Little Pine Church of the Brethren.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 1 p.m. Monday, March 23, funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Tom Clark will officiate. Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
