EDWARDSBURG, Mich. — Betty Arlene Osborn, 93, of Edwardsburg, passed to her rest early Sunday morning, Feb. 15, in her home.
She was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Cass County, to the late Charles and Letha (Latham) O'Dell.
Betty married Harlen E. Osborn in 1941. Harlan passed away June 7, 1998.
Surviving are her children, Shirley (Wayne) Sherwood of White Pigeon and Carl Osborn and Cynthia (Randall) Brunt, both of Edwardsburg; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Osborn of Union.
In addition to her parents and husband, a son, Douglas Osborn; sisters Catherine and Marie O'Dell; and brother Charles O'Dell preceded her in death.
Betty was a loving homemaker and formerly worked at Delray. She enjoyed card games and word puzzles and was an avid fisherman.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 2 to 4 p.m. March 7 at the Cass County Shrine Club, 69185 N. Union Road, Union. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Kessington Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Porter Township Fire Department.
Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
