Obituary
Betty M. Moore, 88, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, March 23, at Riverside Village in Elkhart.
She was born June 21, 1926, in Cass County, Mich., to Harry H. and Ina J. (Jones) Nord.
On July 6, 1945, she married the late Alfred R. "Al" Moore. He preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2012.
Survivors include one son, Richard (Pam) Moore of Elkhart; three daughters, Sharen (Mike) Grace of Bristol, Conn., and Barbara (Eric) Windbigler and Janet (Steve) Buckley, both of Elkhart; one brother, Allen Nord of Middlebury; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a lifelong friend, Phyllis Martin of Mishawaka.
Betty's family would like to thank Riverside Village and Harbor Light Hospice for the kindness and care Betty received. Betty often enjoyed spending time sewing, fishing, playing board games and bingo.
No visitation or services are scheduled. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services under the direction of Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to Harbor Light Hospice.
