Betty Lou Brennan, 94, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Monday afternoon August 31, 2015 at Elkhart Hospice House.
Betty was born on August 16, 1921 in Wabash.
She was raised by the late Joseph A. and Celia (Vandergrift) Replogle.
She married Leo Allen Brennan on April 4, 1952 in Elkhart. He died August 20, 2013.
Surviving is her daughter, Susan (Loren) Maier; grandson, Roger (Barb) Maier, both of Elkhart; 5 great grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren survive as well.
Prior to returning to Elkhart, Betty had been living in Detroit and retired from a clinic as a receptionist. She also formerly worked as a cashier at Wilt's Grocery Store at Easy Shopping Place and the Boris Smoler Dress Factory. She was a member of the OES Starlight Chapter #181 and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
No immediate services have been planned, in keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen. Burial will be at Adamsville Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Elkhart Hospice House.
