Obituary
ELKHART — Betty J. Blessing, 82, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, at Riverside Village Senior Community in Elkhart, following a brief illness.
She was born in Elkhart on Nov. 12, 1933, to the late Clarence and Edna (Creager) Kaser.
Surviving are a son, Jon (Luann) Duncan of Cummings, Ga., and daughters Edana "Dana" Chokey of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Dawn (Steve) Carlson of Elkhart; brother Robert (Loretta) Kaser of Mishawaka; sister-in-law Ruth Kaser of Elkhart; and grandchildren Kara and Kylie Duncan, Nickie (Tom) McIntire and Christian (Isabel Rodes) and Andrew McIntire.
A daughter, Linda Duncan, and three siblings preceded her in death.
In accordance with Betty's wishes, cremation is to take place. A private family burial of her cremated remains will be in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
Betty retired from Miles Laboratories. She enjoyed spending time with her family and volunteering at Faith Mission.
