ELKHART — Beth Ann Curtis, 73, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, March 17, at 5:48 a.m.
She was born Feb. 28, 1943, in Elkhart, to the late Charles and Sophia (Phend) Young.

On Nov. 4, 1972, she married Robert K. "Bob" Curtis, in Elkhart, where he died in 2013. She is also preceded in death by her twin sister, Elizabeth Sue Manley, a brother, Charles "Rusty" Young, and her granddaughter, Tifani N. Miller.
Surviving are her daughters, Beverly (Mark) Stamper, and Tricia (Mike) Wyrick, both of Elkhart; grandchildren, Ashlee, Alisha and Shawna; great-grandchildren, Paislee, Hunter, Sophie and Lanie; five step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Beth's life will be celebrated at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart, beginning with a visitation on Sunday, March 20, from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a funeral service there on Monday, March 21, at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Rick Pirtle of the Riverview General Baptist Church will officiate and cremation will follow the services.
Beth was an industrial seamstress, who worked at several area RV facilities over her lifetime. She was a past member of the 4-H Homemaker's Club and enjoyed singing, NASCAR, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. In her earlier years, she attended stock car racing events with her late husband at Mottville, New Paris and Plymouth.
