Bertram W. "Bert" Crase, 64 of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, September 21, 2022 of natural causes at his home. Bert was born on December 2, 1957 in Battle Creek Michigan to the late Gordon Brooks "Gordo" Crase and Joan Ruth (DeShon) Crase.

He married his true love Kim Sue Colver on April 23, 1988 in Las Vegas. Kim survives, as well as his two brothers Gregory D. Crase, Gordon "Gordy" (Monica) Crase. Several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, a sister Robin Lynn Jolgren preceded Bert in death.

Bert was a 1976 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. He retired from the Indiana Toll Road, with over 20 years of service. He started working in the toll booths and finished working as an auditor in the administration building. Bert and Kim enjoyed going to concerts and have attended well over 300 concerts. He also enjoyed playing golf, traveling, especially to Florida and was an avid sports fan.
