Obituary
He was born Oct. 31, 1959, in Campton, Ky., to Oscar B. and Pearl Marie (Banks) Gibson. He married Darla Ragsdale.
She survives in Elkhart, along with two daughters, Maranda Martinez and Tonya (Nicolas) Eshartea, both of Elkhart; his father, of Lexington, Ky.; six grandchildren; four brothers, John (Pam) Gilbert of Elkhart, Wm. "Willie" (Sandy) Gilbert of Scottsburg, James Gilbert of Jackson, Ky., and Tim (Tammy) Gibson of Osceola; and three sisters, Alice (Thomas) Gibson, Donna Whisman and Amy Todd, all of Osceola.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends may call one hour prior to today's 11 a.m. memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Cremation has taken place in Logansport.
Mr. Gilbert had worked in the RV industry for many years. He was considered handy at fixing things and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed horseback riding, motorcycles and camping. He was friendly and outgoing.
